Failure . . .
As the new puppet regime in Iraq desperately raises the white flag of amnesty, it becomes painfully clear we have failed. Time for a regime change in Washington D.C.
Cheney's daughter . . .
Vice President Dick Cheney's daughter may not be allowed to marry in church. How sad is that? [:-{
This just in . . .
For security reasons both Iraq and the United States may cancel the elections. Hmmm? Didn't Top Gun say thanks to him the world is safer today? What happened? Hmmm? Cancel the elections. Hmmm?
Red alert . . .
It seems to me America needs to be on red alert until after the elections because there is still a chance Top Gun will be reelected. [:-)
This Just in . . .
The UN voted 14-1 that Israel must tear down the 425-mile-long security barrier in the West Bank. Only America voted against the measure. Top Gun said, since 1967 the UN has been picking on Israel. What right does the UN have to interfere with a sovereign nation? [:-)
Tangled web we weave . . .
If only Spider - Man joined the coalition of the willing. If you believe Senator John Warner [R-Va] when he says the draft is not coming back, then I have a Verranzano bridge I'd like to sell you. [:-)
People who live in glass houses . . .
The US continues to complain about foreign nations providing financial support, logistics and training to rebels in Iraq. If there's one thing that annoys the Bush administration, it's countries not respecting the sovereignty of a nation. {:-)
Theodore Roosevelt . . .
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." The Kansas City Star, May 7, 1918.
As Sinatra once sang, "The right to speak my mind out, that's America to me."
President George W. Bush . . .
"A low voter turnout is an indication of fewer people going to the polls." [:-)
What are you doing Tuesday, November 2, 2004?
Conservative columnist . . .
William F Buckley Jr., " With the benefit of minute hindsight, Saddam Hussein wasn't the kind of extra - territorial menace that was assumed by the administration one year ago. If I knew then what I know now about what kind of situation we would be in, I would have opposed the war."
NY Times, June 29, 2004. Hmm? Bill sounds like a bleeding heart liberal. [:-o)
Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens . . .
"If this nation is to remain true to the ideals symbolized by its flag, it must not wield the tools of tyrants even to resist an assault by the forces of tyranny."
In America, the prisoner has rights.
Vice President Dick Cheney . . .
Did not say, "Go f - - k yourself" when asked to make his energy reports public . . . or did he? [:-{
Believe it or not . . .
Last August, JL Roundtree, 91, robbed the First American Bank in Abilene, Texas. He escaped on foot but was arrested three feet away from the bank. Sentenced to twelve years, Mr. Roundtree said, "There ain't a prison in the country that can hold me." {:-)
Query . . .
If the Iraqi people can charge Saddam Hussein with invading Kuwait; can the American people charge George W. Bush with invading Iraq?
Nice to see Ross Perot . . .
Doing those Six Flags commercials. [:-)
Top Gun's favorite book . . .
Must be, "My Pet Goat." Go see, "Fahrenheit 911." [:-o)
Remember when . . .
It was fashionable to think the baseballs were juiced up and not the players? [:-)
My friend Sad Sam . . .
"Where did the years go? Once I was a young stud, now I'm an old dud. I was disappointed reading, "Leaves of Grass" by Walt Whitman. I thought it was a pro - marijuana novel." [:-o)

GREED . . .
Yesterday : We cannot cut and run from Vietnam because our national interests are at stake.
Today : We cannot cut and run from Iraq because our national interests are at stake.
Sadly, corporate America rules. [:-{
